Costume Design graduate specialised in innovative costume design/making methodologies. Skilled in creative problem-solving and fit methodologies across theatre, opera, film and immersive performance. Experienced in working with historical and contemporary garments, executing alterations to professional standard, working in high-stress environments, and supporting designing, fitting and making processes. My practice centres on inclusive garment engineering and creative, out-of-the-box designs.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Pattern cutting - flat pattern cutting, draping on the stand, adapting patterns, etc

• Fabric manipulation - silk-screen printing, leather steam moulding, dying, feathering, etc.

• Industrial & domestic machine operation, overlockers, leather sewing machines, industrial and home irons and steamers, etc.

• Technical problem-solving - expanding from fittings, pattern and garment development

• 3D LAB skills - 3D printing, laser cutting, mechatronics, woodworking, spotwelding, etc

• Digital drawing - experience with Procreate and Adobe, conceptualising moodboards, aesthetic boards, character boards, world boards, etc.

• Cross-department communication, quick problem solving and decision making, skilled team working

• Maintenance - understanding of maintenance for different fabrics, aged materials, and garment structures

- BA (Hons) Costume Design, University of the Arts London — Wimbledon College of Arts (2021–2024)
Focused on design, garment development and pattern methodologies. Experience in classical and experimental pattern cutting, technical drawings, fabric manipulation and innovative costume technologies. Served as Course Representative for two years. 2:1 results

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Maker — The Young Vic (Thelma & Louise: The Musical) (Jul 2025)

Executed urgent garment alterations, fittings and tailoring tasks under strict deadlines. Modified accessories, adjusted and embellished garments, and prepared costumes for the stage.

- Dresser — Royal Opera House (Aug 2024–Present)

Handle historical, contemporary and ballet garments—support garment prep and maintenance for repertory productions. Manage multiple plots and collaborate with costume technicians.

- Costumier & Alterations — Cosprop (May–Jun 2023)

Worked across the costume and alterations departments. Executed precision alterations, restorations and embellishments. Organised historical stock and attended fittings.

- Production & Costume Placement — Secret Cinema (Dirty Dancing) (Jul 2022)

Two-week placement across Costume, Technical Production, Operations, & FOH. Observed production workflows, was hired for FOH for their Guardians of the Galaxy experience, attending laundry calls. 

- Dresser — Pretty Woman: The Musical (West End) (Jun–Jul 2022)

Performed quick changes, garment prep and backstage organisation. Supported costume maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

- Designer & Maker — Dolly Rocket, Proud Cabaret (Mar–Apr 2023) 

Co-developed and constructed a made-to-measure corset, bespoke garments including gowns, tailored jackets, spotwelded headpieces, embellishing and complex fabric manipulations.
